Lynn P. Carson, age 79, of Medina entered into rest on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at the Martin-Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.

Born October 9, 1941 in Medina, Lynn was the son of the late Paul H. and Ruth E. (Achilles) Carson. He graduated from Medina High School in the class of 1960 and remained close friends with many of his classmates. He served in the National Guard from 1962-1967. Lynn enjoyed his career as a machinist for Eastman Kodak in Rochester from 1964-1991 and also worked for 2 years at Fisher-Price Toys in Medina. A fan of fast cars, Farmall Tractors and John Deere, Lynn could fix anything. He loved spending time in his barn and taking care of his lawn. He was a familiar face at Rudy’s Diner in Medina, where he loved to have lunch with his friends and catch up on local gossip. Lynn had a great wit about him and was known to always give out good advice. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loving family.

Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Betty A. Carson; daughter, Kristin A. (Christopher) Vogt; son, Craig H. (Brandie) Carson; mother of his children, Linda Keep Carson; stepson, Kip (late Andrea) Lonnen; grandchildren, Michael, Emma and Ethan Carson; step-grandchildren, Hannah, Dylan and Maggie Lonnen; sister, Ann (Dick) Cooke; and his beloved dog, Rusty.

A graveside committal service will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 1:00 p.m. in Millville Cemetery, East Shelby. Rev. Kim Smith will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Lynn’s memory to Supportive Care of Orleans, P.O. Box 489, Albion, NY 14411 or to the Knights-Kaderli Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 684, Medina, NY 14103.
