Albert L. Eddy

Albert L. Eddy, age 91, of Medina, NY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his home, following a lengthy illness.

Born January 1, 1935 in Albion, he was a son of the late Laverne and Beatrice (Plummer) Eddy. Al served in the U.S. Air Force from 1953-1957. While serving abroad, he met his soon-to-be bride, the former Margaret Cleminson, while serving in England. The couple were married in England in September of 1957. Shortly after, Al and Margaret returned to the United States and made their home in Albion, where they raised a family of two children. Al was employed for many years at Rochester Products Division of GM in Rochester. Following retirement they moved to Medina.

In addition to his parents, Al was predeceased by three siblings, Barbara, Mary and Robert.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 68 years, Margaret Eddy; son, Gary Eddy (Barbara Walker); daughter, Linda (Francis) Dibley; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three siblings, Donald (Donna) Eddy, Gail Clark and Beverly Dudley; and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Boxwood Cemetery, Medina with full military honors. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
