Alice M. Taylor

Alice M. Taylor, of Shelby, NY, entered into rest on Saturday, August 1, 2026 following a lengthy illness.

Born October 6, 1953 in Albion, Alice was a daughter of the late Harold and Faunen (Rowley) Allen. She married the love of her life, David L. Taylor on New Years Eve, December 31, 1970. Alice enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her beloved husband of 56 years, David Taylor, Sr.; two children, Angela Coon and David Taylor, Jr. (April Schultz); six granddaughters, Shelby Blosenhauer, Kalen (Jake) Cotter, Elexa (Alex) Murphy, Alana Drewery, Braelin Taylor and Addison Taylor; four great-grandchildren; six siblings, Harold Allen, Jr., Priscilla Donahue, Elwood (Valerie) Allen, Earl Allen, Gordon Allen and Marsha Robin; and several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 6 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Private interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Alice’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
