Anne V. Albone, 97, of Medina, NY left to go dancing with her beloved husband, Eugene in Heaven on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Born June 8, 1928 in Albion, she was the youngest of ten children of the late Giuseppe and Mary (Tripi) Juliano. Anne graduated from Albion High School, Class of 1946. She married her returning soldier, Eugene V. Albone, in November of 1946. The couple spent nearly 55 years building their life together and raising a family, until his earthly departure in August of 2001.
A social person by nature, Anne was very active in the community. She worked as an executive secretary for the Medina Chamber of Commerce for many years. She was a longtime active parishioner of the First Presbyterian Church in Medina. She also belonged to the Red Hat Society and the Sour Grapes. Anne had a passion for baking. She baked birthday cakes for many people in her community. She enjoyed gardening, was an avid bowler and loved to sew, having made each of her daughters’ wedding dresses by hand.
In addition to her parents and husband, Anne was predeceased by seven brothers and two sisters.
Staying earthbound to keep her love and memories alive are her three daughters, Vicky Anne Dilcher (Peter Castricone), Debra Jean (Rodney) Albone-Gundrum, Cindy Lee Pellegrino; grandchildren, Aric (Bianca) Albone, Michael Barnard, Brandon Barnard, Travis Beatty, Jeremy (Brooke) Beatty, Chad Stawicki, Kerrie (Steven) Spicola, Rhiannon (Ron) Zietz, Nicholas (Kimberly) Pellegrino; great-grandchildren, Ianna Albone, Michelena Baggette, Morgan (Kelly) Beatty, Eva and Sofia Stawicki, Jonathan Kuznicki, Steven and Thomas Spicola, Caiden Paul, Nicolino, Savino and Luca Pellegrino; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, Feb. 21 from 2-5PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. A celebration of her life will also be held at a later date this summer.
