Bambi L. Fearby

Bambi L. Fearby, 61, of the Town of Shelby, entered into rest on Friday, March 6, 2020 at her home.

Born February 21, 1959 in Medina, Bambi was a daughter to Jerry R. (Sipple) Boyer and the late John R. Boyer. She graduated from Medina High School in the class of 1977. She married D. Thomas Fearby on June 19, 1982. Bambi worked for the Orleans County Department of Social Services for many years, after which she was employed as secretary for Orleans County Court Judge, Hon. James P. Punch. Bambi was a talented seamstress in her spare time and had a passion for quilting. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who were very dear to her.

Survivors include her mother, Jerry R. Boyer; her son, Matthew J. Fearby and daughter, Caitlin (Nic) Elliott; stepson, Donald J. Fearby; beloved grandchildren, Keara L. and Shane M. Fearby, Bailey, Benjamin and Thomas Elliott and Brandi (Nate) Wilson; sister, Melinda S. Murray; brother, Christopher M. Boyer; and niece, Kyrstin Sponaugle. Predeceased by her husband, D. Thomas Fearby in 2008 and her father, John Boyer in 2017.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 12th from 2-4 & 7-9 at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. Pastor Erik Olsen will officiate and burial will be in Boxwood Cemetery.
