Barbara A. Kelley, of Medina, NY went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 18, 2025.
Born December 17, 1945 in Batavia, she was a daughter of the late Stillman and Betty (Trow) Farewell. She was a graduate of Medina High School in the Class of 1964. Over the years, Barb worked on the kitchen staff for Medina Memorial Hospital, The Willows and at Orchard Manor Nursing Home. In 1996 she married the late Arnold W. Kelley. A woman of strong faith, she was a longtime and active parishioner of the First Baptist Church in Medina. Barb enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, crafts and reading.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, LaVerne Farewell in 2022; and brothers-in-law, Steven Gerety and Thomas Lindheimer.
Survivors include her sisters, Elizabeth Gerety of Lockport, Nina Farewell of Florida and Anna Lindheimer of Hudson Falls, NY; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Farewell; four nieces, Brenda (James) Cherry, Rebecca (Steven) Cooley, Tammy Jenkins and Kim (Tom) Poole; great-nieces and nephews, Andrea Cooley, Steven Cooley, Haley Cherry and Aiden Cherry, Brett McMurray and Destiny Parslow; stepson, Tom Kelley; step-grandson, Robert Kelley; and several cousins.
Her viewing will be held on Wednesday, August 27 from 10AM-12PM at the New Hope Community Church (First Baptist Church), 203 W. Center St., Medina, where her funeral service will immediately follow at 12PM. Interment will be in Bates Road Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
