Belinda Lee Brady, born on May 5, 1969, in Medina, NY, departed for her eternal home on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at ECMC in Buffalo, NY. She was the cherished daughter of Ernestine Brady and the late Robert Wilson. Affectionately known as Lindy, she brought joy to the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Her path on this earth was characterized by love, compassion, and a deep faith in God. Her passing has left an immense void in the hearts of her family, friends, and many others whose lives she enriched.
Lindy was born and raised in Medina, NY, and graduated from Medina High School in 1987. She later moved to Orlando, FL, where she started her family, before eventually returning to Medina, NY. Lindy earned her associate degree in medical administration and was pursuing a degree in Medical Billing and Coding. She also acquired her Cosmetology license and was talented in hairstyling and nail art.
Starting from modest beginnings at Bells grocery store, she embarked on her career at Dime Bank (Washington Mutual) and served as an instructor at Continental Beauty School. She also worked at Buena Vista Palace in Orlando, Florida, and later as a ward secretary at Medina Hospital. Even after being diagnosed with a chronic illness, Lindy's strong determination enabled her to work in the Medina Central School District. After her renal transplant, she returned to Medina Central School District as a substitute and continued to work at Maximus until her passing.
Lindy was a committed member of Glad Tidings Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Rev. Lambert Duncan until his passing. She enjoyed spending time with family, indulging in nail art—even if it took all day—reading and studying her Bible, experimenting with creative cooking, sharing meals with family and friends, and cherishing moments with her children and grandchildren. She also held a special affection for the band Journey, especially for Steve Perry.
Her memory is lovingly preserved by her mother, Ernestine Brady; her children, Candice Preston, Anthony (Tonya) Session, Gabrielle Preston, and Jared Odita; her sister, Katrina Brady (Justin Kennerly Sr.); and her grandchildren, Julian Session, Hailey Session, Kayliegh Session, Raylee Session, Kayden Conner, and Kaelynn Conner. She is also fondly remembered by her nieces Asia Rhim and India Kennerly, nephews Justin Kennerly Jr., Justin Kennerly, and Torian Kennerly, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who treasured her joyful spirit. She dearly loved her "partners in crime," ‘Aunt Jo’ and ‘Aunt Cheryl,’ and her close friends Brandie Fidanza, Lynn Smith, Willie Little, and Rebecca Buff. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Wilson, her maternal grandparents, Lucille and Clifford Brady, and her paternal grandparents, Henry and Mable Wilson.
We ask you to remember Lindy for the way she lived and the significant impact she made on all who knew her.
