Bruce A. Quackenbush

Knowlesville: Bruce A. Quackenbush, age 68, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on November 17, 2025. He was born July 18, 1957 in Medina to Gerald and Arlene (Dunn) Quackenbush.

Bruce worked for many years as a truck driver, both locally and across the US. He was very mechanically inclined, tinkering on motors for himself and family members. He was a jack of all trades and if he wasn't sure how to do something he would figure it out, whether it was plumbing, electrical or carpentry, he was willing to give it a shot. Bruce enjoyed going to flea markets with his wife Kathy, especially Clarence or Walden and was an avid collector of piggy banks, and duck themed knickknacks, accumulating quite the collection of them. Some days, you'd find Bruce enjoying a nice cold bottle of Budweiser while listening to 97 Rock, out of Buffalo. Bruce, Kathy and their children would go to Nascar races, making a trip out of it with camping and enjoying the time together.

Bruce was predeceased by his father Gerald.

Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Kathy, children Bruce Lee Quackenbush, Kathy (John Colosanti) Quackenbush, Scott (Lisa) Quackenbush, mother Arlene Quackenbush, grandchildren Brooke (Kyle) Miller, Bruce Quackenbush II, Michael Quackenbush, Avery Quackenbush, Sophie Quackenbush, 5 great-grandchildren, siblings Alice Bramer, Danny (late Kim) Quackenbush, Theresa (late John) Cox, Karen (Bruce) Campbell, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of Bruce's life will be announced at a later date.
