Carol E. Costich

Carol E. Costich, of Medina, NY entered into rest on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at the age of 90.

Born September 17, 1936 in Pennsylvania she was a daughter of the late Donald and Edna (Kuhn) Sorg. Carol married the love of her life, the late Carl “Bud” Costich on June 15, 1957. Together the couple raised a family of five children. A hard worker, Carol worked alongside her husband Bud on their fruit farm growing, picking and selling a variety of fruits and also growing Christmas trees on their tree farm, the Costich Nursery. She loved hosting family parties and picnics and spending time with her family and friends. She also loved shopping and enjoyed playing board games and cards. Carol had a strong faith and was a parishioner at Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church for many years. Above all, Carol cherished her family. She will be fondly remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, friend and neighbor.

In addition to her parents, Carol was predeceased by her husband, Carl in 2022; her daughter, Bonnie in 2002; and her sister, Sandra Perks.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children, Larry (Carol) Costich, Linda Costich, Colleen Stahl and Jeffrey (Tina) Costich; grandchildren, Timothy, Daniel, Richard Costich, Kari Keppler, Jeremy Gonzalez, Rebecca Terzo, Trisha Webber, Kaitlin, Megan and Noah Costich; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute at www.roswellpark.org.
