After a brief illness, Cynthia McCormick passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026. Cindy was born May 5, 1952, to Josephine Reynolds (nee Quagliano).

Left to cherish her memory are her loving family, which included her husband of forty-four years, John, and her son Scott (Becky) McCormick. She adored her grandchildren, Rose and Finn, who affectionately called her Grammie. Cindy’s siblings include her sister Debbie (James) Marciszewski and Gerald (Sandy) Reynolds. She was predeceased by her brother Bobby Reynolds. She was also very close to her niece, Melissa (Ryan) Aldridge, and was a very special “Aunt Cinny” to Melissa and Ryan’s children, Addyson and Kellan. She will be sadly missed by her sister-in-law, Ann Sweeting, and special, long-time friends, Rose Ann and Scott Bensley.

Cindy is remembered as a generous, thoughtful, creative and fun-loving person who will be sadly missed by family and friends. She especially loved using her craft skills to make holidays and birthdays extra special for her family. She enjoyed taking car rides with her husband with no particular destination in mind. She also liked to reminisce about her younger years of riding motorcycles. Friday night campfires, shopping sprees and bingo won’t be the same without her.

A private celebration of Cindy’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
