Douglas B. Evert

Douglas B. Evert, of Medina, Medina, passed away on Thursday, January 28 at age 69. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Mildred Evert. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Nancy Skiba-Evert and brother James along with many other loving family members and great friends. Doug was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School and Niagara University. He taught Health/PE in the Niagara Falls City School District for 30 years. Doug was an avid golfer and member of Stafford Country Club. In keeping with his wishes there will be no calling hours or service. Interment private. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held in the spring. The family wishes to thank the doctors and staff at the Wilmot Cancer Center and Strong Memorial Hospital, and Kelly from HCR for their wonderful support and care.
