Jennifer L. Zielonko - Major

Jennifer L. Zielonko-Major, 54, of Waterport, entered into rest suddenly on January 22, 2020.

Born April 25, 1965 in Albion, she was the daughter of the late John H. and Pamilla Sue (Hey) Leigh. Jennifer was a graduate of Lyndonville High School, class of 1982. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from SUNY Brockport. Jennifer was a Christian who loved animals and helping others.

Survivors include her husband, Shawn Major of Shelby; two children, Lynzy Zielonko of Denver, CO and Matthew (Tamara) Zielonko of Dallas, TX; her brother, John “Jerry” Leigh; aunt, Lysbeth “Betsy” (late Richard) Hoffman; and cousin, Sandra (Eric) Hellwig.

Services will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jennifer’s memory may be made to the Carlton Fire Company, 4341 Waterport-Carlton Rd., Albion, NY 14411. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
