Jessie L. Lugo

Mrs. Jessie L. Lugo, of Medina, passed away unexpectedly on October 18, 2016, at her home. Mrs. Lugo was born in Medina, March 10, 1937, a daughter of the late Burleigh Michael and Mary Louise (Calden) Stahl. She worked for the Thomas J. Lipton Company before her marriage to Luis Lugo. Jessie enjoyed playing cards, shopping, eating out and loved her dogs. Survivors include her husband, Luis; 5 sons, Phil (Cindy) Stahl, Luis (Patricia) Lugo, Mike Lugo, Dean (Lori) Lugo and Joe (Michelle) Lugo; 16 grandchildren, Trisha, Aaron, Alex, Ashley, Christopher, Daniel, Katie, Jessie, Autumn, Ariel, Brie, Jordan, Jayden, Nicole, Cameron, and Mackenzie; 6 great-grandchildren, Renee, McKinlee, Delaney, Brynlee, DeAndre and Brayden; her sister, Marian Callaghan; 3 sisters-in-law, Kay Stahl, Kathy Stahl and Carolyn Starkweather; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, John, William, James, Thomas and Richard and 3 sisters, Helen Green, Elizabeth Stahl and Margaret Bickle. Friends may call on Friday (2-4, 7-9) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 West Center Street, Medina. The Rev. Daniel J. Fawls will celebrate her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 11AM at Holy Trinity Parish/St. Mary’s Church. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s Mausoleum.
