Leila K. Botsford

Leila K. Botsford age 100, passed away June 14, 2025, at Oneida Extended Care Facility. She was born February 26, 1925, in Akron, NY daughter of the late Leonard and Cora (Hillyard) Kopp .

Leila retired from the personnel department of Fisher Price in Medina.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Gerald; daughter Barbara Greene; grandson Robert Urtz III; son-in-law Robert Urtz Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Carol Urtz; son David (Penny) Botsford; son-in-law Donald Greene; grandchildren Marianne (Vencek) Urtz, Christopher (Yana) Urtz, Matthew (Christa) Urtz, Kathryn (David) Lamb, Jillian (Joshua) Taylor, Megan Ryan, Shannyn (Derek) Wagner, Michael (Sarah) Greene, Nicole Greene;14 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Grace (Marshall) Watts, Linda Botsford as well as several nieces and nephews.

There are no prior calling hours. Leila’s Graveside Service will be held on Thursday June 19th at Boxwood Cemetery in Medina at 1:00pm. Memorials may be made to the organization of your choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Cooper Funeral Home, Medina.
