Linda J. Fisk, of Lyndonville, NY, passed away in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Linda (Kenyon) Fisk, formerly Carpenter, spread her wings and set off on her next great adventure.
Full of life, laughter and curiosity from the start, Linda was born June 4, 1943, in Lyndonville, the youngest of three children to Duane and Jane (Fraser) Kenyon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Paul and sister in-laws, Marcia Kenyon and Virginia Kenyon; daughter in-law, Laurie Carpenter; granddaughter, Christina Ashton; stepdaughter, Brenda Fisk; and great-grandson, Cohen Albanese.
Linda leaves behind her loving husband, Richard Fisk; brother, Richard Kenyon; children, Tami Ashton (Jim McCabe), Eric Carpenter, Kenneth Carpenter (Tawny Ferguson) and Christopher Carpenter; stepchildren Charlene (Theron) Hayton, Brian (Cindy) Fisk and James Fisk. She was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Linda’s sunny personality drew people in wherever she went. She never met a stranger, only a new friend. She cherished long walks, good books and days spent basking in the sunshine, whether it be poolside or near the water’s edge. Linda loved sea turtles, eating out, a good garage sale, thrifting, long rides in the '57 Thunderbird and people. She had an adventurous spirit, always ready for a road trip, a new experience or a laugh shared with loved ones.
After many years of hard work, Linda retired from Orleans-Niagara BOCES where she was known for her dedication and warmth. She also spent years playing softball, soaking up lake life at her beloved cottage and collecting memories that made her smile. Linda’s free spirit and boundless love of life will deeply be missed by her family, friends and faithful Kitty companion. May her soul forever dance in the sunshine she so adored.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, Nov. 10 from 5:00-7:00pm at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her graveside committal service will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at 10:00am in Lynhaven Cemetery, Lyndonville.
