Lois F. Stevenson

Lois F. Stevenson, age 91 of Lockport, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2026.

Born in Lockport on April 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred (Waite) Cox. Lois graduated from Barker High School, Class of 1943. In her younger years she worked as an accountant for M&T Bank in Lockport. Lois married the love of her life, James H. Stevenson in 1953. The couple raised a family of three daughters. Lois enjoyed providing a loving home in her role as “domestic engineer”.

Lois enjoyed gardening, knitting, watching movies and reality tv. She also loved to shop and especially fancied shoes. Lois loved her family dearly and she cherished her Sunday family gatherings.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, James in 2010; as well as her sisters, Virginia Cox-Corriere and Barbara Davidson.

Lois is survived by her daughters, Jamie (Jeffrey) Wagner, Jacqueline (Patrick) Conley and Julie (Nelson) Rappold; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 30 from 3:00-6:00 PM at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Her memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM.
