Marsha E. Shaw, of Medina, went home to be with The Lord on May 4, 2018 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Marsha was born in Medina, May 24, 1947, a daughter of Delores (Sanford) Hackenberg and the late Jay William Hackenberg.  A graduate of Medina High School, class of 1965, she attended SUNY at Brockport for three years.  She was employed by the Crippled Children’s Association for four years while residing in South Carolina, Bernz-O-Matic and retired from Sigma in 2011. 

Marsha was a member of St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Senior Citizens of Western Orleans, Inc.  She had a keen interest in American Civil War history, was an avid bowler, enjoyed reading, puzzles and trying to spread smiles.

Survivors include her mother, Delores Hackenberg; her aunt, Betty Christopher; her uncle, Bill Sanford; her “sister”, Claudia Holland; special friend, Jeanie Upton; and several cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 10AM followed by a Fellowship Hour.  Inurnment will be in the Mt. Albion Cemetery Evergreen Columbarium at a future date.
