Our world will never be the same. Nevaeh Mae Roberts, 9, of Shelby Center, entered into Heaven on February 2, 2016 at the Golisano Children’s Hospital in Rochester.
Her name said it all and anyone who came in contact with her got a little piece of heaven in their hearts. A disease called HLH cut her life short.
Nevaeh was born in Medina, March 15, 2006, a daughter of Eugene and Abigail E. (Hessel) Roberts, Jr. She was a fourth grade student in Mrs. Pane’s class at the Wise Middle School. Nevaeh enjoyed writing, reading, drawing and swimming. She will be remembered for her quick wit, one liners and her old soul.
Her soul will forever live within her parents, Abigail and Eugene; her sister, Leilani Marie Roberts; maternal grandparents, Rita (Paul) Scupien and Paul (Jen) Hessel; paternal grandparents, Eugene (late Lucy Mae) Roberts, Sr.; maternal great grandparents, Norma (late Joseph J.) Chambers I and David Brown and Betty (Terry) Leonard; aunts including Akira (Donald) Sims and Jada McKenzie; uncles, Paul (Ashley) Hessel, Jr., Michael Chambers and the late Joseph John Chambers II; lifetime friend, Alisha (Jamie) Duffina as well as many other family members.
Friends may call on Friday (2-5) at the Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. The Rev. Daniel Thurber will officiate at her 11 AM funeral service on Saturday at Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Road, Medina.
Memorials may be made to her family in care of Abigail Roberts, POB 145, Lockport, NY 14094.
