Patrick S. Malone, age 48, of Medina, NY entered into rest following a brief illness on Monday, December 22, 2025 at the Medina Memorial Hospital.

Born on August 30, 1977 in Medina, Patrick was the son of the late Donald J. and Mildred F. (O’Dell) Malone. He was a graduate of Medina High School.

Patrick enjoyed watching MMA fighting and WWF wrestling. Earlier this year, he got to see a professional MMA match in Rochester as well as a WWF match in Buffalo. He loved going to his favorite restaurant Ho Ho Hibachi Sushi in Brockport. He enjoyed walking at Swallow Hollow and along Lake Ontario. Patrick especially loved spending time with his family in Vermont and his most special kitty, Oreo. Patrick possessed a deep and everlasting faith in God and was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity Parish, St. Mary’s Church in Medina.

Patrick had several long-term illnesses that he battled every day. The diligence of his loving parents, Donald and Mildred, helped him to live his best and longest life. The family wishes to extend sincere thanks to the staff at the ARC Glow- Marshall Road house in Medina. Patrick was given exceptional care, and more importantly, love and compassion while living at Marshall Road.

He is loved and missed, always and forever.

Patrick was predeceased by his mother, Mildred in 2019; father, Donald in 2022; brother, Michael Malone and sister, Roxanne Malone.

Patrick is survived by many cousins in Vermont and his most beloved uncle Joe and aunt Carol O’Dell. His cousins Dianna Leazer and husband Richard Carroll and cousin Debbie Gardner, were especially close to Patrick.

Private interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery with his parents. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
