Rebecca D. (Eckerd) Sniatecki

Rebecca D. (Eckerd) Sniatecki, of Albion, NY, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025 following a long illness.

Born May 14, 1944 in Pennsylvania, she was one of fourteen children to the late Peter Eckerd, Sr. and Claire (Oberst) Eckerd. Moving up to this area, Rebecca raised a family of five children. She worked for Fisher-Price Toys in Medina for many years. She enjoyed going to Buffalo Bandits games with her companion, Robert. Affectionately nicknamed “Blanche”, Rebecca had a great sense of humor and will be remembered for her lively personality.

In addition to her parents, Rebecca was predeceased by her two grandsons, Justin Winkley and Shawn Winkley; and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her five children, Todd (Tammy) Winkley, Thomas (Debbie) Winkley, Peggy (William) Baxter, Donald (Tracey) Frasier and Michael Frasier; grandchildren, Ginger Frasier, Wendy Heideman, Courtney Frasier, Kyle Frasier, Stacey Winkley, Mikeala Bentley and Aden Frasier; numerous great-grandchildren; several sisters and brothers; and special friend and companion of 15 years, Robert Twardowski.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. James Conley for his care and expertise over the past 25 years, which gave Rebecca that much more time here on earth with her loved ones.

A celebration of Rebecca’s life will be privately held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gates Vascular Institute at www.kaleidahealth.org/donate.
