Ronald A. Townsend

Ronald A. Townsend, of Wyoming, NY passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025 at Buffalo General Hospital.

Born on September 11, 1951 in Albion, he was the son of the late Leland “Jim” and Ida (Monagan) Townsend. Ron was raised in the Pembroke area and graduated from Pembroke High School, Class of 1970. He went on to work construction for McWethy Construction Company, F.L. Mitchell and V.J. Gautieri before starting his own business. Ron owned and operated R&R Enterprises, a general contracting operation. He loved his John Deere tractor and equipment, racing and his dogs.

He is survived by his son, Ryan (Erin) Townsend of Middleport; grandchildren, Jayden, R.J. and Max Townsend; and nephew, Daniel Hume, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Linda J. (Daniel, Sr.) Hume; and nephew, William Hume.

No formal funeral services will be held at this time. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St Medina.
