Suzanne R. Larson

Suzanne R. Larson, of Medina, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born December 19, 1949 in Lockport, she was a daughter of the late Hugh R. and Geneva O. (Welham) Lewis. Suzanne was a graduate of Medina High School class of 1968. She married the late Ronald L. Larson and together raise two children. Early on she worked at Fisher-Price Toys and for H.J. Heinz in Medina. A caregiver by nature, Suzanne worked for many years for the WNY DDSO home in Medina, caring for the developmentally disabled. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Medina and also enjoyed doing arts and crafts.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Ronald in 2000; daughter, Veronica E. Larson in 2012; and brothers, Gregory J. Lewis in 2013 and Timothy R. Lewis in 2014.

Survivors include her son, Ronald L. Larson; brothers, Jeffrey D. (Colleen) Lewis and Kevin P. Lewis; sister, Mary (late Thomas) Rosia; niece, Robin Lewis; and nephews, Galen (Meagan) Lewis and James Rosia. 

A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 27 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 522 Main St., Medina. The Rev. Dr. William Wilkinson will officiate. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
