Thomas J. Fisher

Thomas J. Fisher, 65, of Medina entered into rest on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born July 8, 1957 in Medina, he was a son of the late Lavern and MaryJean (Gottovi) Fisher. Tom was a graduate of Medina High School. He worked for Fisher Price Toys in Medina for 17 years and went on to work as a custodial engineer at SUNY Brockport, retiring in 2020. Tom also obtained his CDL class A license. He enjoyed socializing at Lincoln Post #1483 VFW, Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion and the Sacred Heart Club in Medina. He also enjoyed playing darts and bowling.

Survivors include his son, Marcus (fiancé, Jenna Goheen) Fisher of Medina; three siblings, Linda Carpenter, Susan Lantz and David “Mr. Fish” Fisher; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Kelly Hastings and Kelly Lutz.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 12 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. His graveside committal service will be held on Tuesday, June 13 at 11:30 a.m. in Boxwood Cemetery followed by a celebration gathering at the Sacred Heart Club, 189 N. Gravel Rd., Medina.
